John Kiernan has spoken about recovery from addiction at 12 Step Conventions and Retreats across the United States and Canada.  While he speaks about recovery from alcohol and food addiction at events specifically devoted to those topics, John also speaks and leads Retreats on overall addiction recovery through the 12 Steps.

His participation in any event of an organization does not necessarily connote a membership in that particular organization (in keeping with the Eleventh Tradition).
